Celebs Are All About International Women's Day

by Allyson Koerner

Tuesday, March 8 isn't just any ordinary day, it's International Women's Day. For those unaware, IWD is all about women and men (yes, men too) joining forces and fighting for gender parity, in addition to recognizing the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. Really, everyone should ban together every day out of the year to fight for women's rights. However, that doesn't, nor shouldn't, take away from this important day that is spreading so much positivity and love for women. So much so, that celebrities are honoring International Women's Day on social media.

If you have any social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.), then you'll surely catch a post here and there on how a celeb is celebrating and why it's pertinent everyone take note of the day. For example, below is just a handful of the famous faces speaking out about International Women's Day. From Taylor Swift and Viola Davis, to Bill Nye and Zayn Malik, a slew of celebs are letting the world know where they stand when it comes to women's rights. Hint: They're all for them.
