Ryan Reynolds

Reynolds stars as Adam, a pilot who time-travels to the past and teams up with his younger self to save the world. Reynolds, who also produced the film, told The Hollywood Reporter that it’s reminiscent of warm-hearted ‘80s films like E.T. and Back to the Future.

Zoe Saldaña

Saldaña stars as Adam’s love interest, Laura. Saldaña, who has made a name for herself in sci-fi fare like Star Trek and Guardians of the Galaxy, praised the film’s mix of genres on The Today Show, saying it “has all the heart, it has all the adventure.”

Walker Scobell

But Reynolds’ true partner in the film is Walker Scobell, who makes his screen debut as a younger version of Adam. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Reynolds gushed about Scobell, saying he “had the kind of poise that a veteran would have.”

Mark Ruffalo

Ruffalo plays Adam’s late father, Louis — a scientist who helps both young and old Adam in their mission to save the world. His role gives audiences a long-awaited reunion with a beloved former co-star who plays Adam’s mom...

Jennifer Garner

...in the form of Jennifer Garner. The two actors haven’t co-starred in a film since 2004’s 13 Going on 30, and Ruffalo told People that working together again was “amazing.” Garner added, “I know he was excited to be with me and I was too. We had a great time.”

Catherine Keener

The legendary character actor plays The Adam Project’s scheming, time-traveling villain, Maya Sorian — a businesswoman who’s used Adam’s father’s research to enrich herself in the future.

Alex Mallari Jr.

The Filipino-Canadian actor plays a mysterious baddie in The Alex Project. Mallari Jr. told Esquire that he had a great time making the movie: “It’s fun to be around such creative minds.”
