Starbucks has released new menu items to officially ring in the summer season.

On June 21, Starbucks officially announced their new Pineapple Passionfruit Refresher drink to kick off the first day of summer. This hand-shaken tropical drink is just one of four new items being added to the permanent menu.

Inspired by pineapple popsicles and passionfruit shaved ice flavors, the Pineapple Passionfruit Refresher is also available as a creamy sip for some extra sweetness. Just add coconut milk to create the all-new Paradise Drink.

Featuring bright pineapple and passionfruit flavors, this refresher is hand-shaken with real diced pineapple pieces and ice for a cooling taste of the tropics that will make you feel like you're on island time. Plus, you can even add lemonade for extra zest.

The non-dairy Paradise Drink is simply the Pineapple Passionfruit Refresher with added coconut milk for a rich, smooth treat that is meant to taste just like a pineapple creamsicle. Summer afternoons with Starbucks seem like a no-brainer this year.

A new addition to the permanent food menu is the chicken, maple butter, and egg sandwich featuring breaded chicken, scrambled eggs, and maple butter on a toasted oat biscuit. Breakfast is served.

There's also a new cake pop to choose from and it's Cookies & Cream flavored. Made with chocolate cake, buttercream, and cookie bits dipped in a white chocolate coating with cookie crumbs, this pop is will be a staple for cookie lovers.

For on-the-go sipping and a hit of caffeine, Starbucks' BAYA Energy Drink is now available in a Pineapple Passionfruit flavor. You can find this beverage at most grocery stores and Starbucks locations if you're up for an energy boost.
