Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are officially engaged. The Blink-182 drummer asked for her hand in marriage in a beachside proposal on Sunday replete with a gorgeous engagement ring. Read on for details about the bauble, from the style to the design process.

Lorraine Schwartz designed Kardashian’s engagement ring with a lot of input from Barker, telling People: "I worked on it with Travis and he was a really big part of it. He was really hands-on in the whole making of it. It's gorgeous and they're happy."
According to Simon G. Jewelry CEO Zaven Ghanimian, Kourtney’s oval ring looks to be 10 carats — fashioned with a classic thin platinum or 18k white gold solitaire setting — and may have an estimated value of $500-800k.
Kardashian’s ring is a massive solitaire oval-cut diamond set on a pavé band, all huge trends of the early-aughts. It’s one most recently spotted on Hailey Bieber with her Solow & Co. oval solitaire engagement ring from Justin Bieber.
According to Instagram snaps shared by close friends and family, Barker popped the question surrounded by a massive heart-shaped rose and candle installation on the beach. And the proposal was likely filmed for the family’s upcoming show on Hulu.
The couple has been coordinating their outfits like pros on the regular and this proposal was no exception. With Barker in a casual striped tee and black jeans, Kardashian chose an off-the-shoulder sheer gown that flowed in the wind, topping a pair of knee-high boots.
