Razor-Sharp Eyeliner

At Koché, makeup artist Cécile Paravina crafted razor-sharp liner on models’ eyes, extending beyond the inner and outer corners for a graphic effect.

Blood Red Pouts

The best accessory to a Le Smoking suit? A blood-red pout. That was the look at Saint Laurent, where deep cherry lipstick accentuated Anthony Vaccarello’s sleek designs.

Neon Eyeliner

At Rochas’ Spring 2022 show, streaks of colorful eyeliner — courtesy of makeup artist Lucia Pieroni — were drawn underneath models’ eyes for a twisted take on the graphic liner trend.

Asymmetrical Layers

Dries Van Noten showed digitally at Paris Fashion Week, but the beauty look was out of this world. Hair pro Sam McKnight created asymmetrical wigs that featured jolts of rainbow color at the tips and super blunt layers.

Triangular Eyeliner

Rick Owens’ creative, futuristic vision carried over to the beauty look, which featured slicked-back hair and sharp, triangular-like black eye makeup that extended all the way toward the hairline.

Teased Ponytails

Hairstylist Anthony Turner crafted a fun take on the low ponytail at Rokh, teasing the crown into a bouffant hairstyle and pinning the front half with a long bobby pin.

White Out

With Eugene Souleiman on hair and Isamaya Ffrench on makeup, the look at Yohji Yamamoto was nothing short of show-stopping. Models sported haphazardly styled wigs with white paint sprayed throughout; to match, white makeup covered eyebrows and lash lines.

Punk Aesthetic

The beauty look at Valentino was described as “rebellious,” and considering the moody, kohl-rimmed black liner, bleached brows, and blunt bangs, it’s safe to consider that a true statement.

Flower Masks

Eclectic wig guru Tomihiro Kono designed elaborate flower masks for models at Anrealage’s Spring 2022 digital presentation. It was his first time creating such a look, and if you can believe it, the pro said he improvised this nature-themed beauty spectacle backstage.

’00s Beauty

The 2000s made yet another resurgence on the runway, this time at Lanvin, where models wore frosty, iridescent shimmer on the inner corners of their eyes and sometimes along the cheeks. Paired with a moody burgundy lip, the look was totally Y2K-friendly.

Blow Outs

The long, windswept strands at Ann Demeulemeester were dreamy, to say the least. Care of Anthony Turner, the hair was the perfect effortless-yet-gorgeous look.

Artsy Eyes

Exaggerated eyes were standouts at Matthew Williamson’s Givenchy. Lucia Pieroni added falsies, then drew the outline of a larger eye outside of their natural eye with black liner. A fluttery lash design on the bottom outer corners gave the look a painterly feel.
