If you think it’s too early to start hand-picking the presents you’ll gift this holiday season, think again. (Pro tip: As soon as sweater weather hits, it’s time to get your list in order.) Amidst the seasonal hustle and bustle, including selecting each gift, we’re positive you’ve left one important person off of your list: you.

That’s why this year, in partnership with Macy’s, we’ve tapped our Gifting Squad to help us round up the must-haves that found their way from their gift lists to their wish lists. And ICYMI: our roster of experts are pros when it comes to beauty & grooming, fashion, lifestyle, and home, so there’s something that suits every personality. Keep reading for some expert guidance on exactly what to gift yourself this holiday season — all available at Macy’s (and tastemaker-approved).

“I always end up buying something for myself when I’m shopping for others,” says Tan. “I feel like when I’m not shopping for others, I’m more likely to find things that I want, and when I’m shopping for myself, I can hardly find anything to get. Funny how that works, isn’t it?” Tan’s indulgence of choice? Lipstick! “I own about 300 tubes,” she says, “and yet if I see one that I love, I just can’t resist.”

“I love giving myself gifts during the holidays — I’m always keeping an eye out for myself while shopping for others!” says Pink, who reaches for both practical and luxury items during the holidays. “Since there are so many great sales this time of year, it’s the perfect time to stock up on everything I need...or just have been eyeing all year long,” she says. “In particular, I can’t resist gifting myself loungewear and pajamas. I’m all about that cozy life!”

“I like to buy myself practical items and then surprise others with more luxe presents,” says Conover. “When it comes to myself, I opt for things that can help me at home or on the road while traveling.” Comfortable clothes are always a good idea, he says, adding, “You can never have too many items to wear on the couch, to the gym, or just on the go.”

“I usually find it too distracting to shop for myself when trying to find gifts for others, so I bookmark items that catch my eye and revisit them later,” says Deam. “If I’m gifting myself a splurge, it’ll be a beautiful bag, shoes, or skincare.” But when it comes to clothing, she says, “Cashmere anything always feels like a treat.”
