Birchbox x Nicole Richie Is Happening To Celebrate The Second Season Of 'Candidly Nicole'

Celebrating the premiere of VH1's second season of Candidly Nicole, the pop culture television network and Nicole Richie just launched an exclusive Birchbox, the country's leading online beauty sampling service. Each product was specifically chosen as a cosmetic representative of the show's lighthearted essence, and judging from Richie's impeccable taste, Birchbox subscribers are in for a treat. Beauty explorations should be fun, and Birchbox never fails to provide its customers with products they are sure to love.

“Each month, Birchbox is like a little gift that magically appears full of goodies," Richie said, "and I like to think that I am also like a magic gift filled with goodies. So the partnership feels like destiny, essentially perfect.”

The television personality certainly has come a long way since her reality television series The Simple Life, which documented the every day lives of Richie and childhood BFF Paris Hilton ended in 2007. While she has worked her way up to becoming a high end fashion designer and founder of accessories label House of Harlow 1960, she has yet to dabble in cosmetic development. I guess we'll just have to settle for a few of her favorite products for now. That's not the worst thing in the world, I think.

“Nicole Richie is constantly breaking the mold with her ever-evolving style,” said Katia Beauchamp, Birchbox co-founder and CEO. “Her strong sense of individuality is something we truly value here at Birchbox, so we are proud to support her show and can’t wait to see how our subscribers use the product picks in this box to create their own unique looks.”

The limited edition of assorted products features LAQA's Cheeky Lip Tint in Humble Brag, one nail color from OPI's Venice Collection, and St. Tropez's Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion, among others. I may not know much about Candidly Nicole, but if I know anything about Nicole Richie, its that she embodies what it is to be bold and beautiful. She's not afraid to experiment with her look and now, thanks to her recent collaboration with Birchbox and VH1, you can experiment with the celeb's innovative cosmetic style for yourself. Pink hair, optional (but so awesome).
