Ashley Ditches Blonde For This Bold Color
Sorry, Blake Lively — it looks like there's a new hair color eclipsing "bronde." Ashley Tisdale dyed her hair red, but she has a new moniker for the color: strawberry bronde. I have to say, I love the color on her just as much as I love the name.
Tisdale is generally known for her beachy blonde, California girl locks, but she has been known to rock some brunette tresses in the past (and obviously looks good with both), so bronde is the perfect in-between. And because she's got a little edge to her, she wanted to throw in some red in there to shake things up a bit. The High School Musical star shared a picture of herself on Instagram, showing off her debut into ginger-haired territory. Tisdale captioned the post, "I've never been this color before, @kristin_ess made me a ‘strawberry bronde'!"
Whether the 30-year-old actress swapped her color for a new, fresh look, or made the switch for her role in the new TBS show Clipped, it's a color that looks pretty darn great on her. And I have to admit — that tinge of red makes it so much more interesting than just plain bronde. Points for who can come up with the next unique hair color hybrid name.
Prior to becoming a redhead, Ashley was a bright blonde.
But she was a true "bronde" once before.
And let's not forget when she was brunette...
..and that time she mixed it up with lavender tips:
Clearly, she's a hair color chameleon.
