If you crave that elusive pair of jeans that adheres to your figure in an aesthetically pleasing manner without busting your budget, Target has you covered. Target has announced a new collection of denim manufactured to satisfy consumers who possess limited allowances but high sartorial expectations. And if the offering doesn't appeal to Target shoppers simply on the basis of its promise of high style at low prices, perhaps the collection's creative direction by Marie Claire editor Zanna Roberts Rassi will do the trick.
The new collection's 20 tailored styles and 66 varied washes were thoughtfully crafted with both utility and style in mind, according to Target's Senior Vice President of Product Design and Development Julie Guggemos. "Whether you’re dressing them up for work or dressing them down for the weekend, we want our guests to know that when it comes to denim, Target’s got you covered. Our team has obsessed over every last detail, ensuring that when you put on a pair of our jeans, you’ll not only look great, but you’ll feel great, too. And with each pair under $30, I’m confident that we’re offering value that simply can’t be beat,” Guggemos elaborates.
Indeed, denim that pleases the eye is nearly unheard of for under $50.
However, Rassi's aesthetic intuition appears to have sent the collection in the correct direction, encouraging an amalgamation of minute detailing and clever cuts. "There's something so satisfying about trying on a pair of jeans for the first time and saying, 'Yes,' yes to the way you look, yes to the way you feel. But finding that perfect fit, let's face it, it's not that simple," the editor relays via a promotional short for Target.
However, it's safe to say that Target's redesigned denim will having you saying yes to new jeans in no time.
