Kate Mara Rocks A Red Dior Vest In New York City

by Eliza Florendo

Last week, Kate Mara basically changed the Little Black Dress game and took it to new heights, wearing a leather mini with single strap black heels. As if she couldn't get any chicer, of course, she does: Kate Mara looked incredible in a red Dior vest and Jimmy Choo pumps at a Fantastic Four panel in New York City.

I'm always, always a fan of opting for menswear, because what's better than borrowing from the boys? I love the structured silhouette she rocks in this incredible bright red vest, and paired with blush pink/nude shorts, I've died and gone to fashion heaven. To take the look one step further, she finished her lewk off with nude pointed Jimmy Choo pumps, adding a touch of fierce femininity.

I never would've thought a pair of shorts could look this elegant, but of course, Kate Mara manages to pull this off. I'm in love with the asymmetrical buttons on the vest that she wore to the Apple Store in SoHo. This incredible silhouette is a semi-peplum that plays with shapes in a way that I absolutely love. Her make up was kept simple, as was her new pixie cut, and she topped it all off with a simple earring. Kate Mara basically proves that less is more in this gorgeous ensemble.

Pink and red is a pretty unexpected combination, but I love how this look brings those two colors together, and basically confirms that separates make for the coolest looks. Simple, yet elegant, this look basically screams chic. Take a peek at some vest options below, to get your Kate Mara on.
