Justin Bieber Teases New Song "What Do You Mean" & Here's Everything We Know About It So Far — LISTEN
Somehow, we're still 17 days away from hearing Justin Bieber's new single, "What Do You Mean." Seventeen days away! If you ask me, the 21-year-old singer launched the campaign for his big comeback track a bit too early (it doesn't officially drop until Aug. 28), but he's done a surprisingly good job of creating and sustaining hype. After announcing "What Do You Mean" on Ryan Seacrest's morning show on July 29, Bieber recruited a bunch of his celebrity pals to help promote it, ranging from legendary diva Mariah Carey to Orange Is the New Black actress Ruby Rose. On Tuesday, British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran even put together a short freestyle about the tune!

What do you mean?
You want me to move, but you tell me to go
What do yo mean?
You nod your head yes, but you wanna say no
USA Today's Carly Mallenbaum was able to make out the above lyrics when the Biebs played "What Do You Mean" at the iHeartMedia Music Summit in Burbank, Calif. on Wednesday last week.
Bieber described "What Do You Mean" to Seacrest as "uptempo," "fun," and "summery." USA Today's Mallenbaum called the tune "a catchy dance track for the club" after hearing it, noting that it has "plenty of bass and a slick beat that incorporates the sound of an eery, ticking clock." Intriguing...
But, Like, Can I Hear A Preview Or Something?
Your wish is my command! I don't know where the above video of Bieber dancing to "What Do You Mean" came from, but there it is for your listening pleasure.
Hopefully Bieber will share another snippet of "What Do You Mean" with us very soon.
