Did 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay' Find Its Alma Coin?

by Kate Ward

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire doesn't hit theaters until Nov. 22, but that hasn't stopped Lionsgate from starting the casting process on the third movie. According to Deadline, Julianne Moore, who recently picked up an Emmy for her role as Sarah Palin in Game Change, is being eyed for the role of President Alma Coin in Hunger Games: Mockingjay.

Coin figures predominantly in Mockingjay, rescuing Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) from the 75th Hunger Games and helping the tribute become a leader in a rebellion. But, to stay true to the role, Moore would have to dye her famous red locks — Coin is known for her grey hair. Still, there's little doubt the Oscar-nominated actress would be good company alongside Oscar winners Lawrence and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
