How To Keep Your Strapless Bra In Place
I have to admit, even with all the trouble that it may cause, strapless bras are a necessity. It's a sad truth considering all the basic struggles that are involved with wearing one, like finding the right one for yourself or knowing simply how to keep your strapless bra in place—especially if you live in humid areas and you're sweating all day and night (*cough* New York *cough*).
So does this mean we need to approach strapless bras like we do periods and cramps where we just deal with it on the struggle bus together? No. Does it mean we need to resort to buying tops without unique cuts? No, never that. We've just gotta start thinking outside of the "bra" in order to come up with little practical adjustments that we can make here and there to hold it up.
There may not be a long list of ways that we can make these bras work at all times, but there are a few tried-and-true tips we can follow. With these tips and tricks, that awkward moment of doing the little shimmy to pull up your strapless bra can finally be a thing of the past. And the following "joke" doesn't have to be as true as you believe it is.
Here are 3 easy tips to help you keep that strapless bra on for as long as you need to.
1. Use a single bra strap for added support
Often times, strapless bras will come with straps to give you the option to turn it into a regular bra. Using one of those straps, start from the back and string the strap underneath the wire of your bra. Then link the hook in the back so that you have your strap hooked around your ribcage. It may not seem like much, but the strap will give an added amount of support. (Multi-Way Bra, $55-62.50, Victoria's Secret)
2. Be as clean as possible
The best way to make the inner silicone lining stick to your boobs is to make sure you're body is all clean and free from moisturizers. And in general, avoid applying any products to your chest.
3. Use fashion tape
