Kelly Clarkson Is Pregnant!

The first winner of American Idol has some big news. During the Los Angeles stop of her Piece by Piece tour Wednesday, Kelly Clarkson told fans she was "totally pregnant" with her second child, and the singer couldn't be any more excited. She gushed about the pregnancy on stage at Staples Center while fighting back happy tears.

Wearing a sparkly off-shoulder black dress, the 33-year-old struggled to get through a song as she teared up and laughed. That's when the surprise baby announcement came blurting out. "I would like to apologize to my husband," she said, laughing. "But you know what, that was not planned. I just didn't want you to think I was crazy or something. I just I'm honestly so hormonal. Nothing's wrong. Everything is great. I haven't vomited yet. That's a win y'all."

Clarkson married her beau Brandon Blackstock back in 2013, and together, they already have a darling little girl River Rose, who was born last June. The singer's first pregnancy was particularly difficult, during which she had multiple health scares and even lost her voice after the birth. In an interview with ET Canada, Clarkson said the "bad pregnancy" led to dark times, and she wondered whether she would be able to continue her career as a singer.

"I was like, ‘Oh God, I'm not going to be a singer anymore.' I was bawling to my husband and completely hammered, just going, ‘Oh my God, it's over. I don't know what I'm going to do I guess I could do more charity work.' I didn't know what I was going to do."

But now, Clarkson has nothing but happy tears at the prospect of having a family of four. Congratulations!
