These Are The Most Popular Bags In Each State
I think we can all agree that style differs from state to state. While you can totally get away with edgy, avant-garde fashion in New York City, the same outfit would look a *tad* bit out of place on the more laid-back West Coast, so it seems only right that our taste in handbags would vary across the country, too. Polyvore identified the most popular handbag in each state, making the obvious differences a little more tangible. The shopping site pulled together the most popular handbag styles on Polyvore in each state — and the results are actually somewhat surprising.
While cross-body bags are most popular in states such as Nevada and Washington (I mean, they're really conducive to outdoor activities like hiking), oversized, weekender bags reign supreme in Georgia, Mississippi, Virginia and New Jersey. Guess some states really like getting away!
It's not surprising that Arizona and Oregon put the animals first with their love of vegan handbags, but what is entirely shocking is that not only did drastically different California and New York share the same most popular handbag, but it's also a FANNY PACK. They have to be counting tourists, right?

Wasn't entirely sure this was a thing, but you do you do, Maine. (Skinnydip Cat Crossbody Bag; $63; asos.com).
