Mae Whitman's 'Her' Review Is Amazing

by Tanya Ghahremani

GUYS. The most amazing thing happened on Twitter today, and there are just so many puns and jokes I can make about it, I don't even know where to start. So, instead, I'm just going to tell you what happened: Mae Whitman reviewed the movie Her . Mae Whitman! Arrested Development's very own "her?" I believe in popular culture, this is what we call a full circle.

Whitman's review was in the form of one simple tweet: "'Her' officially gets the prestigious "Her?" Stamp of Approval from me. Absolutely beautiful and painful in best way." That's it: That's all any of us ever needed to know about the movie Her. Disregard all other reviews and any prestigious awards it winsHer has the official "her?" stamp of approval from "her?" herself. It's now officially a wonderful movie.

If you're not familiar with Whitman's history with the word — first of all, what have you been doing with your life if not watching Arrested Development? Second of all, it's based on her character in Arrested Development, Ann Veal, whose name was often forgotten (or thought to be egg). Look, there's a GIF signifying it and everything:

You can check out the tweet below. Her is set to hit theaters on Dec. 18.
