Elisabeth Moss Wore A 'Mad Men' Worthy Frock

by Emily Kirkpatrick

Mad Men may now tragically be a thing of the past, but a recent outfit one of it's stars wore to the Apple Store Soho: Meet the Filmmaker event on Tuesday says otherwise. Elisabeth Moss wore a baby blue Andrew Gn dress from the brand's Resort 2016 collection to the Q&A. The look perfectly channeled Peggy Olsen while still managing to feel very modern and chic.

The ice blue frock Moss chose from the designer features a demure, ladylike tea-length sleeve and a hem that hits just above the knee. Its ever-so-slight shawl-neck adds to the sixties aesthetic of the dress, as does the lace trimming on the sleeves and the faux button-placket front, which has become Andrew Gn's trademark detail. While this A-line sheath was styled with a belt in the designer's lookbook, Moss opted to go without to keep things a little more modern. She chose instead to style out her ensemble with a simple black clutch, white pumps, and some dainty gold jewelry. The dress also showcased Moss' newly auburn locks to serious advantage, with the fresh color popping against the more wintery blue.

If you didn't missMad Menyet, wait until you see this dress. I think it'll inspire more than one Netflix binge-watch.

Moss' Andrew Gn number is retro perfection, but if you can't stomach the modern-day price tag, try one of these frocks on for size!
