Miranda Kerr Wears Nautical Bodysuit For 'Cosmo'

Trading in the blazing sun rays and pool days for cool breezes and crunchy leaves doesn't necessarily mean abandoning summer styles. Miranda Kerr covers Cosmopolitan Australia's October issue in a nautical bodysuit complete with black, white, and orange stripes and a thick belt at her waist, further proving this fashion industry favorite can be incorporated in any of the four seasons' wardrobe options.

I'm not exactly a bodysuit kind of gal myself, but this Bec and Bridge number works so well for the former Victoria's Secret Angel that I may have to give this piece a try. I am loving the color scheme here, and you'll rarely find me shying away from a polished, chunky statement belt. Of course, this is Cosmo, so who needs pants? Well, to wear this out in public, you might.

Clearly Kerr's cover is a PSA to remind us that summer's not the only season during which to show some skin. Once October rolls around and those cool September breezes start to nip, it's only natural to ditch that fantastical image of frolicking through the pumpkin patch in a skirt and tights combo, but now I've not only been sold on the autumnal sailor style here, but I'll be opting for some serious shoulder peaking this season. Who's with me?

Check out below how you can score Kerr's nautical style this fall, and remember that the pattern is made for all seasons, so get creative with it all year round!

The Bodysuit

Boohoo Julia Stripe Bardot Bodysuit, $10.00,

One red and white striped, off the shoulder bodysuit at your service. And for only $10? A steal!

The Belt

Guess Patent Leather Belt, $27.49,

A chunky statement belt will accentuate the smallest section of your waist and draw attention to your curves.

The Skirt

Charlotte Russe Textured Skater Skirt, $16.99,

Not only is this nautical style fall-inspired, the look is very Parisian, which never seems to really go out of style. I've paired the bodysuit with a light, flowy skirt. Add a pair of booties with sleek tights, and you're ready to take on fall with a bit of flair.
