September is here, and you all know what that means — it’s time for cinnamon everything. If you are anything like me, you constantly have cinnamon on the brain the second fall arrives, and you are willing to take desperate measures to get your cinnamon fix. Fortunately, there are plenty of things to bake in fall when you're craving cinnamon that will help keep your needs in check. Believe me when I say you're gonna be OK.
Every year when fall rolls around, the scent of cinnamon is inevitable. From apple cinnamon candles to pumpkin spice muffins, you can’t walk into a store without a rush of cinnamon goodness. The onslaught of cinnamon sparks my love of baking, so from now through the holidays, if you walk into my house, the oven is always on. The changing leaves and cooler weather just scream for a warm slice of cake, or a gooey cookie with a tall glass of milk. Nothing cheers you up like something warm and fresh out of the oven.
I’ve rounded up my favorite tasty cinnamon-packed recipes to help you usher in fall with a big, warm, cinnamon-sugary hug. Sometimes, you need something a little more exciting than a plain ol’ cinnamon roll. It’s time to up your cinnamon baking game, my friends.
When it comes down to it, who needs a cinnamon spice candle when you can bake all that cinnamon into something you can actually eat?
