It's Hard To Watch Kristen In This 'RHONY' Moment

A lot can happen between the time a reality show ends filming and the present day. There's no better example of that than watching Kristen Taekman's 10th anniversary party during the "Secrets Revealed" episode of unaired footage from Season 7 of The Real Housewives of New York City . That's because the recent Ashley Madison hacking revealed that Kristen's husband Josh had an account on the dating site meant for people looking to have affairs. Oof. The timing of this episode could not have been any worse.

Of course, this isn't the first time it looked like there was trouble in paradise for Kristen and Josh. Kristen was open about the problems she had in her marriage during Season 6 of RHONY, although things were starting to look up for the couple during this past season. Kristen even commented that she and Josh were in a good place and that it was nice to not have any attention from her RHONY cast mates in another outtake from the Season 7 reunion during Thursday night's special episode.

The weird thing is, there was surprisingly little drama at Kristen's anniversary party, which is probably why Bravo decided not to air it. Kristen's 10-year-old, bunched-up, lace wedding dress fit her like a glove, and she unsurprisingly looked stunning during the soiree, even if the maid of honor at her wedding did decide to wear a dress to this black-and-white affair. Josh and Kristen both even made loving speeches to each other during the night with no hint of sarcasm or malice.

Of course, there had to be a little drama at this party, right? Carole Radziwill did choose this event to confront Sonja Morgan about some shade she had allegedly been throwing. Carole said a friend of hers heard Sonja dissing her at a gay bar. When Carole asked Sonja about this, she did not apologize at all. Instead, she said she probably did diss Carole, but she also said she was probably dissing everyone, because that's apparently what you do at a gay bar. "No one is safe when I go to a gay bar," Sonja told Carole. Remember that, kids.

Judging by Kristen's Twitter feed, it looks like she did unfortunately watch Thursday night's episode. Kristen didn't say much about the anniversary party or Josh. She hasn't been too vocal about the Ashley Madison ordeal overall. However, Kristen did seem to love revisiting the clip where she tried her wedding dress on again with Carole.

No matter what, a girl can always count on her friends.
