Gothic Glam Ruled The Red Carpet At Jeremy Scott

by May Sofi

New York Fashion Week is practically upon us and the swanky fashion parties have already begun. Celebrities attended the premiere of Jeremy Scott: The People's Designer in Hollywood on Tuesday, the designer's highly anticipated documentary, bringing out the absolute best of their fashion A game.

Interestingly enough, the celebrity wardrobe reflected the eccentric style of the Moschino designer — a truly special way to honor the unique fashion icon. As with most red carpets, certain trends dominated over others. Starlets like Katy Perry, Vanessa Hudgens, and Lily Collins all stepped out in gothic glam ensembles, a style that seemed to have ruled the carpet on Tuesday night.

My favorite look of the night was donned by Hudgens, who put a touch of '90s nostalgia on her gothic chic ensemble. She rocked a black long-sleeve minidress complete with a pleated skirt and silk ribbon at the midline. Her hair was styled in space buns à la the Spice Girls, and she rocked long drop earrings and black velvet choker. The complete look was very Wednesday Addams circa The Addams Family.

Another winning style came from Collins, who rocked a signature Moschino dress. The high-low silhouette was covered in the brand's typical graffiti print with shades of blue, black, and white. The 26-year-old kept her beauty look with the goth theme as well, donning an opaque wine-colored lip and a demure smoky eye.

Take a look at some of the broodingly gorgeous looks from the night.

I'm totally digging this old Hollywood glam look.

Leave it to Scott to inspire such a stellar red carpet turn out.
