Whoever said pastels are strictly for spring was clearly wrong. Demi Lovato donned a mint green co-ord while out and about in London on Thursday, proving that fashion rules are meant to be broken. Candy-colored threads may translate to summer for most fashion moguls, but Lovato obviously shows it can be done for fall too. It appears that fashion has no rules in the singer's eyes, and I commend her for taking a style risk.
The 23-year-old rocked a cropped structured jacket and matching knee-length skirt with metallic gold buttons and pocket detailing. The bright turquoise color was counterbalanced by the thick fuzzy fabric of the two-piece, which obviously reads autumn, at least IMO.
She layered a teeny striped bralet underneath her jacket that flaunted just enough of her midriff to give the ensemble a sultry vibe. She paired the outfit with metallic oil slick point toe pumps and a black leather Céline tote. The singer topped off the look with mirrored sunnies and deep side-parted sleek locks.
Aside from being totally wow-worthy, the look had a certain retro quality yet still felt utterly fresh at the same time. It was a total style win in my book.
I'm not really surprised by Lovato's daring look, TBH. She seems to love pushing boundaries with statement fashion looks.
Check out the stunning style.
I'm totally obsessed.
