Paris Jackson Rushed to Hospital After Apparent Suicide Attempt — REPORT

UPDATE: "Paris is physically fine and getting appropriate medical attention," Sandra Ribera, attorney for Paris's legal co-guardian Katherine Jackson, says in a statement. Eric George, a lawyer for Paris's mother Debbie Rowe, also issued a statement: "We appreciate everyone's thoughts for Paris at this time and their respect for the family's privacy." 

EARLIER: Michael Jackson's teenage daughter, Paris Jackson, was rushed to the hospital after a possible suicide attempt, TMZ reports. According the website, Jackson was rushed from her home in Calabasas to a nearby hospital at 2 AM Wednesday. Sources tell TMZ that Jackson's daughter is "doing ok" and is in recovery.

Paris Jackson has been in the public eye in the years following her father's death in 2009 as the subject of tabloid scrutiny. Jackson posted a couple troubling tweets prior to the news of her hospitalization:
