Arnold Needs A 'Celebrity Apprentice' Catchphrase

by Courtney Lindley

Arnold Schwarzenegger will now add another thing to his already impressive resume (including but not limited to being the ex-governor of California, and actual real life Hulk): Schwarzenegger will host Celebrity Apprentice in 2016. NBC announced that the movie star will replace Donald Trump next season. The show, which has been on air since 2004, has apparently sparked Schwarzenegger's interest for quite some time. He recently told Variety, “I have always been a huge fan of The Celebrity Apprentice and the way it showcases the challenges and triumphs of business and teamwork."

You and me both, Schwarzenegger. While I am a fan of the show too, I'm not shocked to see Trump go (apparently, he's busy). And, while I might not be the biggest fan of Trump himself (that's putting it lightly), I'm skeptical of what the show will be like without him. Specifically, what will happen to the unforgettable catchphrase and unofficial tagline of the show: "You're fired"? Will Schwarzenegger adopt Trump's words (and comb-over), or will he will he try to come up with something else entirely?

Let's take a look at all the phrases Schwarzenegger has contributed to the world, and see if any of them would fit into the Celebrity Apprentice boardroom.

1. "Hasta La Vista, Baby"

I will die 10 times over if this actually gets used.

2. "You Won't Be Back"

But he will.

3. "Get To Da Choppah!"

Only would work if all cast members get sent home via helicopter.

4. "You've Been Terminated"

Because, come on, how perfect is that?

5. "Don't Come With Me To The Next Episode... If You Want To Live"

Would be terrifying, but also would get the message across.

6. "You're Fired"

Because he actually said it first.

Apparentl,y I'm not the only who has been concerned about what Schwarzenegger will say when he lets an apprentice go. The action star snapped a video of him rehearsing some of his most memorable lines, and I'm glad to see he's already practicing. Look out for the new Celebrity Apprentice some time in the 2016-2017 season.
