Get Cara Delevingne's LFW Front Row Style

by Julia Guerra

London Fashion Week is in full effect, which means social media continues to offer us fashionable feeds of celebs and street style by the minute. Cara Delevingne's outfit for Burberry show at LFW was stunning. Delevingne, sandwiched between her campaign companion Kate Moss and girlfriend St. Vincent, showed she knows how to pull off an all-black ensemble, this time adding delicate gold jewelry to add a hint of contrast.

I have adored Delevingne since the moment I caught a glimpse of her first Burberry campaign for the label's 2011 Spring/Summer collection. This British beauty always had an edge to her that shone through every photograph, but even more so through her social media platforms. Her carefree, this-is-who-I-am personality is represented through her fashion, and I think this particular outfit was no exception.

Generally, I’m not a huge fan of gold, but the chain going from her neck to navel is just enough to be subtly sexy in the best kind of way. Sporting a pair of Burberry booties from the brand’s latest collection, the almost neon yellow ankle trim gives the fancy footwear the bare minimal pop of color that the ensemble needs.

Let’s also just take a minute to swoon at the fact that Delevingne and St. Vincent's outfits coordinated for the event. Relationship style goals to the extreme.

The front-hook detail of Delevingne's shirt gives the face of Burberry’s ensemble a corset-like style. The historical sense of the ensemble is automatically modernized when paired with the mesh skirt which happens to perfectly matches the Suicide Squad actress’s heeled booties.

Once you get a good look at the model turned actress’ top and skirt, it becomes even more apparent that this celeb’s style could easily be copied. This is great news for us, but probably not so great news for this individualist. Sorry Delevingne, but imitation is the greatest form of flattery, right?

Check out below how you can emulate Delevingne's Burberry runway show ensemble.

The Top

If the plunging neckline is the detail you're pulling from Delevingne's look, this shirt meets the criteria. Pair with skirts, pants, shorts, or any other bottom of your choice.

There's no getting around the fact that a deep V-neck blouse is pretty hot, but if you were actually drawn to the overall styling of Delevingne's top (aka the corset-esque detail), you'll want to go for something that defies the times but is still on-trend. Go for a slightly shorter neckline plunge, and amp up the romantic vibe. This particular top is loose with a long back that is very Juliette Capulet.

The Skirt

This girl is she has yet to shy from a statement maker. I'm loving the mesh skirt Delevingne's rocking here, and while I would never have the courage to take it out for a wear myself, mesh skirts are for everyone and anyone, it really just depends on just how revealing you're willing to make it.

The Shoes

Who doesn't love a peep toe heeled bootie? Throwing in the mesh detailing only amplifies the appeal of these gorgeous shoes. Life's short. You know what to do.
