Cara D. & Kate Moss Sport Fall Fashions At Mango
Milan Fashion Week has officially begun, and what better way to celebrate the third installment of fashion month by honoring the fall inspiration style icons are already providing us with thus far? Cara Delevingne and Kate Moss made an appearance at the Mango flagship in Vittorio Emanuele Tuesday, the Autumn/Winter campaign co-stars showing their support for the Spanish brand. Naturally, fans gathered by the dozens despite pouring rain to catch a glimpse of the supermodel duo. The two arrived around 11AM, welcoming fall with styles that could be defined as an epic nod to autumnal chic.
An October baby myself, fall fashion has always held a special place in my heart and, of course, my wardrobe. The brisk temperatures and coloring leaves inspire trendy denim and lavish layering, but the season itself invites the coming together of feminine and masculine separates which are each equally represented in Delevingne and Moss’s ensembles.
When I think “Kate Moss” I think ultra glam and sex appeal, so to see her walk on stage in a pair of skinnies, accessorizing with a short necktie, was a pleasant surprise. Both British babes sported an androgynous style for the event, Delevingne’s ensemble complete with a black mini and khaki army jacket, clearly paying homage to her signature edge.
