Football season is here but that doesn't mean being subjected to over-sized jerseys and sweatshirts. Jamie Chung made her football fan-gear stylish at the NFL Style Showdown Event, and proved that even sportswear can be trendy. Her outfit is so adorable that it might even make non-sports fans consider actually attending a game this year.
As a football fan and the girlfriend of a player, I know the struggle of dressing for games all too well. Finding the right balance between looking good and still supporting your team is one of the trickiest sartorial challenges there is, but Chung makes it look like a breeze. She found the perfect fan meets fashionista ensemble by pairing her 49ers gear with a grey blazer. She tucked her team-wear into a leather skirt, which made for a high fashion fall look.
Although her light brown heels might not be the best choice for sitting in the stands, her bright red lipstick complimented her style as well as the team colors. Chung pulled back her locks and let a few piece fly free, which might just be my next game-day hairstyle because it looks so effortlessly cool. There's no doubt that this outfit was a little more sassy than sporty, but there's no reason to hold back on style when it comes to sporting your favorite team.
Just because you're gearing up for outdoor sports doesn't mean that you have to skimp on the accessories either. Chung rocked some 49ers temporary tattoos around her wrist that looked just as if she was wearing a bracelet.
Chung wasn't the only woman who showed off a winning NFL outfit. Everyone attending the event put their own twist on the outwear, providing even more cold-weather inspiration for your next game day.

2. Dascha Polanco
Polanco got excited for the upcoming Super Bowl a little early this season, but she looks fabulous in a gold and black jersey-style shirt.
3. Tika Sumpter
There was no question who the NFL Ambassador was rooting for, but her leather pants gave the outfit a trendy twist.
4. Heather Zeller
The blogger stayed true to her personal and team style with this adorably matched high-waisted skirt and Jets tee.
5. Liz Black
Black sported a more casual game day option, but gave the look a twist with her patched jeans and black pointed flats.
6. Christine Bibbo Herr
This blogger went all out when it came to her sportswear. Herr's bright blue skirt fit in with the color scheme.
7. Erin Heatherton
The NFL Ambassador and Victoria's Secret model didn't pick a team, but she still looked utterly chic.
Who knew fashion and football could work together so well?!
