Caitlyn Jenner's Kids Get Ready For Her Coming Out
Even though it's been a couple of weeks since the first season of I Am Cait finished airing, in Keeping Up With The Kardashians time, the family has yet to introduce Caitlyn Jenner to the world. But that's a good thing, because now that we've already seen Caitlyn's side of the story, we get to see what her family was going through as she transitioned into becoming the person she always wanted to be — and it definitely wasn't easy. On Sunday's KUWTK, the Kardashian-Jenner fam all confronted their emotions about Caitlyn's transition in their own ways.
The situation was fresh on their minds because at the time of filming, the special About Bruce was about to air — and if you watched it last spring, you already know that it dove into the family's feelings about Caitlyn's transition in a very real, personal way. Everyone, especially Khloe and Kendall. While talking about the special, they both admitted that their emotions are "running high," especially
"Our emotions are incredibly high," Khloe said while talking to Kendall. They both mentioned that they hadn't met Caitlyn yet, and that they were nervous about the impending special. Because, duh. That's scary stuff!
Kylie and Kris had to handle their feelings on the subject later in the episode. Kris couldn't even have fun at a Kanye West concert, she was that stressed out about it, and Kylie got cornered while walking a red carpet when reporters tried to get her to open up about Caitlyn. It's part of being in the spotlight for sure, but the world would be a better place if families in the spotlight got to deal with stuff like this without the public being involved.
But no matter how hard Kris was taking it or how nervous the girls were about Caitlyn being exposed to the entire world, it's obvious that there's a lot of love there, and that's my favorite thing about them. Love the Kardashians or not, you can't deny that it would be awesome to be a part of such a tight-knit family.
