It's officially fall and that means it's sweater weather. It's also leather weather. Selena Gomez rocked black leather on her Flare cover. But it's not what you think. The super stylish singer and actress, who recently slayed a girl boss pantsuit, isn't wearing a leather jacket on Flare's November cover. That would be way too expected. Instead, Gomez, who has been seen sporting leather a lot lately, wore a black Alexander Wang dress.
It was strapless, with a corset shape and a front zipper. She wore it over a crisp, white top with three-quarter length sleeves and black ties on the sides. It was a very Fifty Shades of Grey presentation for Gomez, since she also went with a red-stained lip and her dense thicket of glossy hair was pushed back off her face.
The cover tag notes that Gomez feels "confident, empowered, in control." Well, that particular point was certainly furthered by the fact that Justin Bieber's ex was also wearing this dominatrix-inspired dress with a thick, strap-like belt and buckles.
The white shirt softened this look quite a bit. If she had worn it with nothing else, showing off her bare arms and shoulders, it might have been so hot that it melted polar ice caps. It was more tame with the top.
That's a sexy dress, for sure. It screams "Brunette bombshell," even with the white top, which was also by Alexander Wang. OK, maybe I wish she didn't wear the white top, as it'd be a super body con look. IDK. I'm torn!
Gomez wore a long, black leather gown recently. It was another sexpot sheath.
She also donned a leather-look mini in a shift shape that was as hot as her A. Wang dress on Flare.
