13 Best Beauty Looks From Paris Fashion Week

by Emily McClure

As our seven days of French fashion immersion comes to an end, let's take a look back at some of the most inspiring beauty looks from Paris Fashion Week that absolutely transformed the runway. From metallic blues to angelic pinks, fun, springy colors definitely took center stage. Sonia Rykiel brought out her fashion line by featuring her models in deep blue smoky eyes and pale lips. On the other end of the spectrum, the Balmain show took the completely opposite approach by giving the models the brand's signature bronzed look.

As a whole, this fashion week was all about bold, yet wearable makeup. Whether it was keeping the models ethereal and fresh faced, or going big with graphic eyeliner, each seemed to bring out the model's natural beauty instead of masking it. Just like Parisian women themselves, these makeup looks seemed effortless, but completely cool. There was even a bit of a real-girl regal vibe for most of the shows. For instance, the models at the Alexander McQueen and Chloe shows seemed to bring out an air of sophistication, but in completely different ways. There has never been so many different ways to show off your inner It-girl. So, hats off to the beauty teams that made these models absolute knockouts. Here is a roundup of some of my personal favorite looks from Paris Fashion Week.

1. Sonia Rykiel

The Sonia Rykiel show was all about looking cool-girl chic. From smoky eyes to pale lips, these looks were definitely worthy of the in-crowd.

2. Vivienne Westwood

Rainbow eyes, pouty lips, and messy hair made for a serious statement at the Vivienne Westwood show.

3. Roland Mouret

Pink, neutral lips and perfectly undone hair were the focus of Roland Mouret's show. Everything about this beauty look just so effortlessly chic.

4. Louis Vuitton

The Louis Vuitton models unleashed their inner badasses on the Paris Fashion Week runway. With fierce lipstick and false bottom eyelashes, these women definitely weren't messing around.

5. Balmain

It was all about the bronzed lids and cheeks with neutral lips at the Spring 2016 Balmain show. So very attainable, no?

6. Chloe

The Chloe show at Paris Fashion Week was all about being feminine with a bit of edge. This is definitely one of my favorites.

7. Dries van Noten

When the models weren't sporting fabulous sunglasses, they were showing off their beautiful metallic blue eyeliner. Rimmed just across the middle of the eye, this daring eyeliner made this beauty look a standout at Paris Fashion Week.

8. Vionnet

The Vionnet show went bold this year by displaying graphic eyeliner on their models. This eye look coupled with pale lips and messy updos displayed beautifully against the clothing.

9. Nina Ricci

Candy apple lips and structure cheekbones were the highlight of the Nina Ricci show. These lacquered lips paired beautifully with the clothing's natural shine.

10. Alexander McQueen

These clean, angelic looks were absolutely breathtaking at the Alexander McQueen show.

11. Chanel

Chanel didn't disappoint this past week with their over-the-top airline-themed show. However, what stood out to me were the hazy blue eyeshadow looks that a few of the models were sporting.

12. Rahul Mishra

Flushed cheeks, dewy skin, and stained lips ruled the runway at the Rahul Mishra show this past week.

13. Barbara Bui

Tan, glossy eyes are the reason for the season. These models looked drop dead gorgeous at the Barbara Bui show.

I will 100 percent be copying all of these come Spring 2016.
