Johnny Depp & Amber Heard Are One Matchy Couple

by Sienna Fantozzi

It can sometimes be annoying when couples go all matchy-matchy (don't pretend you've never eye rolled over it a time or two) but when Johnny Depp and Amber Heard premiered Black Mass in London in their matching ensembles, it was anything but cheesy. That could have *something* to do with the fact that they wore all black, giving off a dark and moody vibe, but whatever the reason, this matchy-ness totally worked.

Depp and Heard, both fashionable in their own rights, have become quite the red carpet duo in that they always seem to complement each other without it ever feeling contrived or gimmicky. Their latest appearance, at Depp's Black Mass premiere in London on Sunday, was no exception. The married couple opted to get literal with the film's title (or just, you know, get down with their dark side) by wearing all black everything. Verdict: It looked so freaking great.

Heard wore a satin and lace Dolce & Gabbana dress with black pumps and black clutch (and a smoky black eye, because you gotta go all the way with it,) and Depp wore an all black three piece suit. They definitely brought the smolder to this red carpet.

Whoever thought basic black could look so flawless?

I'm also totally loving Heard's ringlets.

Here are seven other times Johnny Depp and Amber Heard matched and looked so stinkin' stylish.

Their opposite black and whites fit perfectly into their disheveled-yet-cool off-duty outfits.

They've always got each others backs (color wise, that is).

That orange blazer almost detracted from the fact that they're matching again.

Don't let the coats throw you off — they're matching underneath.
