Celebrate National Dessert Day in Style

It's officially time to rejoice — did you know that today is National Dessert Day? How lovely is it, that there's a whole day devoted to desserts? There are a lot of ways to celebrate — chief of which involve consuming large amounts of sugar, refined and otherwise. It's definitely a day to indulge, no matter what your preferred form of glucose is — personally, I'm a sucker for chocolate chip cookies. And Taiwanese-style shaved ice. And buttercream frosting. And... you get the picture. Really, for one day, it's your duty to go ham on all of your favorite desserts. It's practically mandatory, if you think about it.

That said, true sweets fanatics might want to go above and beyond on this special day — and what better way to proclaim your love of dessert than with some sweets-inspired style choices? After all, if you're going to spend the day eating buttermilk bars and drinking iced frappuccinos with extra whipped cream on top, why not indulge in their sartorial equivalents?
