It doesn't get much more fashion-y than a joint event between the CFDA and Vogue — and, of course we can leave it to Kiernan Shipka to be the most fashionable fashionista at an event chock-full of fashionable fashionistas. After all, she's had home run after home run over the past few months (her Paris Fashion Week stylings were especially on point, and she also wowed at the Emmy Awards, alongside the rest of the women of Mad Men ).
At any rate, the CFDA and Vogue held their annual fashion fund party in Los Angeles, and Shipka absolutely stunned in a playful Giamba frock. It really was quite the well-dressed event — in addition to the actress in her colorfully lacy number, Jaime King was also dressed to kill in an ultra-chic gown with an embellished bodice and flowy skirt, while Lily Collins showed off her fashion know-how in an architectural, contrast-collared chartreuse number.
Shipka's latest stylish shift dress featured fluttery lace sleeves (with matching lace trim on the neckline and hem of the dress) as well as a delicately graphic print in muted shades of yellow, red, and black. It came from Giamba's Fall/Winter 2015 collection (though it originally went down the runway in bold, floral black and yellow, as opposed to Shipka's pastel take on the dress), and it was an absolutely perfect choice for the actress. She styled the dress with her signature neutral makeup look, a playful updo, a statement box clutch, and some no-nonsense pointed black pumps — let's take a look!
It really is tough to imagine a dress more perfect for Shipka and her trademark style — let's hope she wears more of Giamba (and its high-fashion older sister, Giambattista Valli) in the future!
