Scrolled through the ladies on Tinder recently? Found some honeys, admired a few Facebook photos and three-line blurbs? Maybe run into a sitcom character or two? That last part's a big possibility right now, as The Mindy Project's Mindy Lahiri is now officially on Tinder.

A whole slew of people looking for potential lovahs or love interests on Tinder have discovered matches with the fictional Mindy Lahiri. Her bio reads, aptly, "Tiny doctor in a big city looking for love, friendship, or a donut so good it’s spiritual." Lest you think you might have actually struck the cute Indian lady jackpot, however, those who might not automatically recognize Kaling's visage have their dreams crushed with the last line, which reads "To see more about me, tune-in to The Mindy Project this Tuesday at 9:30/8:30c on Fox.”

Mindy Kaling's The Mindy Project is on hiatus until April and trying to stave off the vultures, so it makes sense for the show — which has an episode coming up (eventually) featuring Mindy trying out the dating app — to try out such a clever marketing technique. Maybe some vaguely spurned dudes or ladies will tune in out of curiosity, or maybe the ploy will drive more attention to the show in general.

Either way, aren't we all just looking for a donut so good it's spiritual?
