It has long been established that Amal Clooney has impeccable and classic personal style. But even so, she isn't afraid of trying new trends, which was the story with Clooney's asymmetric, voluminous little peach dress she wore to support her husband (his name is George, ever heard of him?) at the Hollywood premiere of his latest project, Our Brand Is Crisis. The dress puts a spin on the classic cocktail dress and is perfect for a night out.
Clooney always looks like a million bucks when she steps out in public. The 37-year-old lawyer and activist is always dressed to the nines in wonderful designs, no matter if she's stepping off the plane or onto the Met Gala red carpet. But it's her effortless attitude about rocking seemingly classic pieces with unexpected details that really makes her a one-of-a-kind, totally unique style star.
Her ensemble this latest appearance was a perfect example of this. She wore a gorgeous, sparkling peach mini dress by Roland Mouret that fit her to a T. The dress showed off her beautiful frame as well as her flawless skin. The fluttering, asymmetric fabric details around the collar and the waist gave the petite dress some volume. Even though these touches were quite subtle, they elevated this number beyond your run-of-the-mill cocktail dress.
In terms of accessories, Clooney wore a pair of gold pumps with a small, snakeskin box clutch with detailing that also tied back to her shoes. Otherwise, she only wore a pair of oversized diamond stud earrings to finish off the look.
This sparkling cocktail dress was the perfect piece for Clooney to wear to support her husband's latest project. It wasn't overpowering, it wasn't too much of a statement, yet it had personality and was unique enough to really stand out from the average LBD and other gowns that usually occupy the red carpet at film premieres. Overall, Clooney looks drop-dead-gorgeous while still capitalizing on her amazing personal style. But would you expect anything less? No, didn't think so.
