A Burger Stuffed With Reese's Peanut Butter Cups?

Foodies, I have some news that I'm delighted to share with you: a Canadian burger joint called The Works has invented a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup-stuffed hamburger called the "Reese PBC," and it’s just one of those things you kind of have to see to believe. Not even the True North is immune from insanely over-the-top food concoctions — I'm so pleased.

The Ontario burger joint recently introduced the "Reese PBC" to the masses, which immediately sparked a media firestorm. Why so much press, you ask? Maybe it’s because this creation consists of candy stuffed inside a hamburger patty that’s topped with bacon, onion rings, and more candy. Maybe it's because it's a burger being sold for $15.98. Maybe it's because it calls your favorite chocolate candy "Reese" instead of "Reese's." My guess is that the buzz probably comes from a combination of all these reasons. My Canadian roommate said it sounds "not bad," so maybe this chocolate-peanut butter-beef combo is a Canadian thing. At the very least, it's intriguing. Very, very intriguing.

Of course, there’s lots to love about foods that mix sweet and savory, and I bet the whole crunchy and melty aspect of this burger has plenty of people drooling.

The Works’ whole shtick is that they like to stuff seemingly random things into burgers. I mean, their tagline is “Get Stuff’d.”

But adding Reese's? Needless to say, some people are a little perplexed by this burger.

But hey — until you try this burger for yourself, you'll never know if you like it! After all, what's not to love about Reese's?
