Emma Stone's Solo Red Carpet Style Is Perfection

Bear with me. I'm still in mourning over the demise of another celeb super couple. Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield reportedly split rather quietly and possibly a few months ago, according to USA Today. The actors enjoyed several years of coupledom and kept their relationship largely out of the public eye. Stone and Garfield had many stunning red carpet showings during their romance. However, Stone's solo red carpet style has always been impeccable AS WELL; she doesn't need to be flanked by her man (or a man) to turn heads.

While Stone likely indulged in a carton of Ben & Jerry's and hang sessions with her bestie Taylor Swift after the demise of her relationship with Garfield, I'm trying to stay positive amidst my bummed out-ness over the split. I'm attempting to lift my spirits and the spirits of Stone fans by looking back at some of her best red carpet solo showings of 2015. There are plenty.

With her flame-hued hair and porcelain skin, Stone always looks elegant. She also has a crazy innate sense of what works for her. There is a reason she hardly ever lands on those "What was she thinking?" fashion lists. Girl has incredible taste and she isn't afraid to take fashion risks, as her gambles usually pay off.

Here are Emma Stone's best solo red carpet moments this year.

1. White & Ladylike

This sleeveless and belted white frock was as ladylike as it gets. That's a Stone specialty — ladylike.

2. Dazzling In Dior

This boat-necked, silk crepe Dior gown, worn at Cannes, was a knockout. So was the lady who was wearing it.

3. Darling In Oscar de la Renta

Her poufy, lacy Oscar de la Renta mini, also worn at Cannes, was utterly darling. From the scalloped neckline to the flirty hem, it was almost too adorbs for words. Hands down, this is my fave Stone look... E-V-E-R.

4. Custom + Chartreuse Elie Saab

This isn't an easy color to pull off, but Stone owned it at the 2015 Oscars. Her custom, chartreuse Elie Saab gown showed skin in some key places. Like her leg...

... and her back. The dress was an open-backed beauty!

5. Monique Lhuillier LBD Love

Where to begin, where to begin? Stone's Monique Lhuillier LBD had a triangle shaped, lace top, side cutouts, and a skirt with pockets. So many details and so much beauty. This was anything but a boring LBD.

6. Print Mixin'

Mixing prints has long been considered a fashion "don't" yet Stone dared to "do" it. Her black and white striped top and her black and white polka dot skirt (with pockets) looked effortless while it broke a rule.

7. More Dior Couture

This Dior Couture gown with the jacket-ish top and the long, flowing, and sheer skirt took inspo from a tux. It was a daring look for Stone but she owned it. Make that "Stone-d" it!

8. This Lanvin Outfit Had Pants & A Skirt...

Stone's 2015 Golden Globes Lanvin ensemble was edgy and unusual, that's for sure. She wore a beaded top and fitted black pants with a... skirt. And a bow. It was a daring fashion display.

Stone has fabulous taste. While I am totally crushed that A. Garfield will no longer be her arm candy, she has long proven to turn many a head while struttin' solo.
