Naomie Harris's Dress Is Unexpected & Cool

by Rosie Narasaki

Okay: I think we can all agree that the Spectre press tour has been pretty superbly well-dressed. What with Kate Middleton's Grace Kelly-esque ice-blue Jenny Packham number, Monica Belucci's green velvet Ralph & Russo gown, and Lea Seydoux's kick-ass sequin-covered Prada (and everything in between), it's been one of the best dressed press tours around. Well, now Naomie Harris is continuing on the tradition of excellence with an extremely on-point striped ball gown from Ralph Lauren, effectively stunning at the Zurich premiere of Spectre .

It should come as no surprise that Harris can really bring it in the fashion arena — after all, she wore minimalist orange Stella McCartney to her film's London premiere at the Royal Albert Hall to pretty darn devastating effect, and there's also her stellar Cannes record to take into account... suffice it to say, she's got style to spare, and her latest striped showstopper might just be one of her best ensembles yet.

The dress in question (which comes from Ralph Lauren's Spring 2016 Ready-to-Wear collection) is considerably less dramatic than her London premiere dress, but it still packs some major punch. The pale blue shade gives this dress an almost casual look, but the multi-directional stripes, structured bodice, full skirt, and thigh-high split work together to give it an edgier feel. All in all, it's the perfect dress for this updated version of Miss Moneypenny — let's take a look!

Harris was the only lady from the film to appear at the Zurich premiere — though hopefully, we'll see her team up with Bellucci and Seydoux at least once more before the press tour is done. Nothing quite like a Bond film to really bring out the best on the red carpet, eh?
