Taylor Swift's 'Frozen' Homage Was Adorable

by Kadeen Griffiths

Taylor Swift has brought so many people out on stage with her for the 1989 World Tour that most people don't even bother to bat an eyelash at it anymore, unless they're already Swifties. However, the singer once again outdid herself on Sunday when Swift performed "Let It Go" with Idina Menzel while dressed as Olaf (Menzel was, of course, dressed like Elsa). The moment combined three things that people worldwide really enjoy — Swift, Frozen, and Menzel. However, despite the universal popularity of the song, I couldn't help but be a little disappointed to see Swift in her amazing Olaf costume. Not because it was a bad costume or anything, but because I think Swift should have been dressed as Anna and performed "Do You Wanna Build A Snowman?" instead.

Listen, I know that "Let It Go" is the award-winning song and all, but "Do You Wanna Build A Snowman?" is a total classic that requires two sisters and a whole bunch of feels. Maybe Swift didn't want to have such a depressing song in her concert. Maybe she doesn't know all the words. Maybe she hasn't realized, as I have, that she and Anna are basically the same person. But, whatever the reason, I wish she would consider it for the next time she decides to burst out some Frozen fever (pun intended) on stage during the 1989 World Tour, and here's why.

1. Seriously, She & Anna Are The Same Person

Enthusiastic, loyal go-getters who never give up, always speak their minds, and would go to the ends of the earth for their friends and family? Yeah, I'm shocked that Swift hasn't already changed her first name to Anna.

2. She & Idina Menzel Have Sisterly Chemistry

Just watching them work off one another on the stage singing the song together made it so clear that the two of them have stage presence like whoa, and I have absolutely no problem visualizing them as sisters.

3. "Let It Go" Is Getting Kind Of Played Out

OK, well, Frozen in general is getting kind of played out, but that song in particular is literally everywhere. Which is probably why Swift chose it, but can we give the other songs in the movie some love please?

4. She Would Kill Everyone With The Feels

As if her audience isn't already in enough tears getting to be at a Taylor Swift concert, can you imagine the waterworks if they're at a Taylor Swift concert singing along to the saddest song in the movie?

5. She Would Look Amazing In The Dress

Swift looks amazing in everything, but in Anna's dress and with her wig on? I love it and she hasn't even done it yet.

6. Calvin Harris Could Be Her Kristoff

Imagine how outrageously the audience would clap for that couples costume.
