What Did The Real Housewives Look Like As Kids?

I have always been pretty fascinated by the lives of the cast of Real Housewives before they joined the show. I mean, they had to be pretty interesting in order to be cast in the first place, right? And that intrigue doesn't just happen overnight. I'm sure that the ladies were killing it back in the day as children, too. Were they fashionistas back in the day or were they normal kids just like the rest of us? Well, photos of the Real Housewives as kids show us fans what they looked like when they were children, and they also give us a little glimpse as to how they acted.

Thanks to Instagram and whoever created Throwback Thursday and Flashback Friday plenty of old photos have surfaced of the Real Housewives cast while they were growing up. If you expected to see anyone going through that awkward phase the rest of us experience, you're out of luck. Pretty much all of the ladies have been fabulous from the very beginning. Still, it's so weird to see women who we have gotten to know as reality stars, career women, wives, and mothers as young children themselves. However, these are photos of the ladies pre-Housewives and pre... well, various procedures, so some of them definitely look a little different. Let's check out the pics.

1. Teresa Giudice

First off, I'm a little surprised to a see a pre-camera phone candid of a middle schooler in class, but I guess cameras did exist back in the day. Teresa looks pretty much the same as she does now, but just a little bit bored.

2. Kim Richards

It's not at all shocking that little Kim Richards looked like a baby model considering she is always talking about her childhood actress days on the show.

3. Dina Manzo

Dina Manzo posted this pic to prove to the haters that her plumps lips are real and have been around the whole time.

4. Yolanda Foster

Even as a young girl taking care of horses, little Yolanda still looks like a model striking a pose.

5. Carole Radziwill

Carole didn't reveal which child she is in this photo, but I have to assume that it's the second one from the right with the bangs.

6. Kyle Richards

Am I the only one who's a little thrown off to see that baby Kyle was a blonde? Her dark locks are her signature these days, so this photo was definitely a surprise.

7. Kim Zolciak-Biermann

Kim posted this side-by-side comparison of herself and her youngest daughter, Kaia. They really do look like twins.

8. Bethenny Frankel

Baby Bethenny looks so relaxed in this photo. It's a far cry from the woman we know today who never slows down.

9. Cynthia Bailey

Even as a child, Cynthia looked super fierce striking a pose in this family photo.

10. Heather Dubrow

This photo has me wondering what adult Heather would look like with bangs. She should consider bringing this look back.

11. Kandi Burruss

With a baby on the way, this photo makes me excited to see what Kandi's newborn will look like!

Even before the glam squads, cosmetic procedures, and reality TV shows, the Real Housewives were just kids who were keeping it real.
