Forever 21 Is Partnering With A Cool Charity

by Rosie Narasaki

Looks like a certain mega-popular fast fashion retailer has some holiday spirit to spare this season. Forever 21 is officially partnering with Soles4Souls for a charitable promotion that will run through the month of December. As their name might suggest, Soles4Souls follows a similar "buy one, give one" philosophy to popular brands like TOMs and Warby Parker: For every pair of shoes sold, another is donated — and now, they're letting Forever 21 in on the fun. Following Soles4Souls' charitable model, Forever 21 will be donating one article of clothing for every piece of outerwear purchased... so, if you're looking to get a jumpstart on your holiday shopping this year, why not gift your friends with some good, old fashioned Forever 21 outerwear? They're sure to appreciate the sentiment. And hey, why not use the spirit of giving to justify some retail therapy?

For their part, Soles4Souls is a pretty rad nonprofit — they first started as a disaster relief organization back in 2004, in reaction to the Indian Ocean tsunami, as well as Hurricane Katrina. they officially formed as a non-profit back in 2006, and since then, they have given away 26 million pairs of shoes in 127 different countries.

Forever 21 plans to donate up to $1.5 million worth of clothes, so it's high time to start stocking up to make sure they reach their cap. Here are some options that I personally want in my closet as soon as possible — let the shopping sprees commence!
