7 Warm Nike Sneakers To Shop For Winter

by Sienna Fantozzi

As much as I love boot season, sometimes I really miss the ease of just throwing on my sneakers. I mean, they are comfy, practical, and actually pretty fashionable right now — but when it's freezing cold outside? Not so much. You don't have to wear boots every day in the winter, though, because there are plenty of warm Nike sneakers you can shop that blend functionality with style.

Sneakers used to be a major fashion no-no, but they've been making a comeback recently (much to lazy girl approval), and as a result, have definitely undergone a stylish makeover. I swear, some sneaks are even more chic than heels these days. So naturally, it would make sense that sneaker companies would keep stepping up their game and come out with some cold-weather options for the winter months.

Even though you might have to keep certain pairs, like your Chucks, in the back of your closet until it warms up a bit, there are some pretty freaking cute and warm Nike sneakers out this season to shop. Get ready to want all of them. (And then add whichever ones you don't immediately buy to your Christmas lists).

1. Suede Sneakerboot

Nike Dunk SkyHigh Sneaker Boot, $180, Nike

This is basically the best of both worlds.

2. Printed Sneakerboot

Roshe One Hi Print, $110, Nike

These definitely make a statement.

3. Fleece

Everything UGGS can do, Nike can do, too.

4. Knit

Roshe Flyknit, $120, Nike

If it doesn't get as cold where you live but you still need some extra warmth, knit is lighter than fleece.

5. Ankle-Strap

Lunar Force 1 Sky Hi, $130, Nike

The strap around the ankle will help keep cold air from getting in.

6. Mesh And Leather

Roshe One Winter, $80, Nike

This sneaker is warm, but also breathable. (Because sweaty socks=gross).

7. Classic

Internationalist Fleece, $110, Nike

It's Nike's classic sneaker, but fleece-lined.
