Miranda Lambert Debuts Pink Hair At 2015 CMAs, So Eat Your Heart Out, Blake — PHOTOS
I see you, 'Randa. It's only the biggest night of the year in country music — the Country Music Awards — and Miranda Lambert is stepping out like the confident, newly single woman she is. Miranda Lambert dyed her hair pink and it looks pretty fantastic.
Of course, we all know how Lambert feels about the color pink. She branded her line of general store-like businesses with the name "The Pink Pistol" and pink guitars and microphones are staples on her stage. Still, she likes to keep things pretty platinum when it comes to her naturally blonde locks. As in, she's never strayed from blonde. Tonight, she stepped out in a big way. Her long bob was dip-dyed pink, which is awesome except it kind of, sort of, totally looks like her ex-man's new girlfriend's iconic 1999 red carpet look, which was pointed out by E!.
I'm calling it a coincidence! Miranda has been rocking her signature color for years in a million different ways, so this isn't much of a stretch. Pink is as much a part of her personal brand as rescue dogs, beer, and boots are. This just so happens to be the first time she's dyed her hair an unconventional color, so of course she goes with pink. It's the trendy thing to do among celebs, so I definitely don't think Lambert was trying to copy any specific rock star.
Let's talk about the cut of her new 'do. The long bob she recently chopped just fits her SO well.
The layered pieces frame her face and the subtle dip dye of pink is an gentle ease into the world of color.
It could be a temporary glam look, but I kind of hope it stays.
Her deep part gives the look an extra, rock glam vibe that I'm loving. Of course, I'm sure this is only temporary. Miranda Lambert without her long blonde locks? It just doesn't seem right that they are without each other for too long.
Remember when she went short and choppy, though? This is one of my all time favorite looks — a short, piecey bob with a platinum dye. Gorgeous!
She also went darker once, but even then, stuck to blonde.
While pink is a nice change from her usual blonde, I'm sure she won't be going full Kylie Jenner and continue her exploration into new colors. However, I'd love to see her try blue or lavender gray! Who knows, though. Miranda Lambert is a new woman and the only thing we can expect from her is to be sexy, strong, and confident! New hair colors, bring it on!
