Seth Rogen's First Date With His Wife Sounds Great

Celebrities most definitely live extraordinary lives. I mean, most people in this world aren't attending red carpet events, making movies, covering magazines, winning Oscars, or taking luxurious vacations for a weekend getaway. However, that doesn't mean famous people aren't "normal," because, really, they are people just like everyone else. One celeb couple who makes a good case for this is Seth Rogen and his wife Lauren Miller.

As the cover stars for the most recent issue of Haute Living Magazine, Rogen and Miller opened up about their lives, including the fact that despite what most people think, they are just your average, everyday people. "When you’re in the public eye the way that Seth is, it’s so easy to make up exactly what you think their lives are like — but we’re just normal people," Miller said. "We go to the drugstore and buy toothpaste. We’re just people."

It might be hard to filter through all the glitz and glamour of celebs' lives, but deep down they are just individuals who are probably pretty boring when they're not creating projects for the big or small screen or promoting their work. More likely than not, most celebs come home from a day of shooting, throw on their sweats, grab some dinner, and settle in for a night of TV-watching. That definitely seems to be the case when it comes to Rogen and Miller. However, when it comes to how they first met, well, that's something straight out of a movie.

The couple first met in 2004 through Rogen's good friend screenwriter/producer Will Reiser. "I worked on [Da Ali G Show], and [Will] was dating [Lauren’s] friend," Seth explained. "Will and I were friends, and he said that the girl he was dating had a friend, and that we might like each other, so we went to a birthday party and met." It was basically love at first sight and that very night they went out on an unofficial first date, where they grabbed grilled cheese sandwiches at four in the morning and played Spanish Scrabble until sunrise. Yeah, that's how all my "first dates" go...

That said, their official first date wasn't as romantic, but it was filled with action. While chatting with Us Weekly, Miller said, "Even our first date was exciting. We played mini golf and then got into a hit and run accident on the freeway. When I got out of the car I hugged him, I needed to hold on to something." I guess you could say that's something that would happen in a movie, too.
