Kiernan Shipka Wears An All Lace Gown At The Guggenheim International Gala Dinner & Nails It — PHOTOS

Here's something that will question all of your life choices: Kiernan Shipka is 15 years old. Yep, you heard that right. The actress and style star is about 10 years younger than I am, yet Kiernan Shipka in Dior looks so much chicer than I could ever dream of looking. Shipka wore Dior at the Guggenheim International Gala Dinner on Nov. 6, which was hosted, of course, by Dior.

When I was 15, I was wearing surfer-inspired denim skirts (frayed, of course) and polos. I had one in pretty much every color, and yes, I used to pop the collars. In some cases, I would even layer two polos (cringing, cringing hard right now). I wore platform flip flops and considered lacy tank tops to be appropriate semi-formalwear. You bet I was still wearing flared jeans on the reg, and distressed shorts and a tube top were basically my summer uniform. You live and change, y'all. You live and change.

Enter Shipka, whose wardrobe is to die for, in playful mini dresses, long frocks, and gorgeous shift dresses. She puts my 15-year-old self to absolute shame. Even though she does always look put together, her ensembles are also extremely youthful and fun. Her dresses usually feature a fun, playful pattern or color scheme, and sometimes she mixes things up with a bright or fun shoe choice. Basically, at 24 years old, I want to dress like her.

Shipka rocked a lace knit long-sleeved Dior gown, paired with Dior jewelry and accessories. The dress' texture was so beautiful that I don't know how everyone kept themselves from petting her. Shipka went with a darker red lip, almost a plum, and a textured up-do. Overall, the look was autumnal wonderland incarnate.

Although black seems to be the neutral of the season, why not go with nude? Shipka basically shows us that nude is the perfect color for fall/winter, especially in NYC. Check out some nude pieces below to keep in your closet's rotation all season long.
