Summer's ultimate fashion accessory is, of course, sunglasses, but just because fall and winter might have some much darker days, doesn't mean you can't still rock your sunnies. If you need inspiration for how to transition the accessory for cold weather, take it from Miranda Lambert's birthday Instagram post, which showed off her new piercing and some seriously chic sunglasses.
The country singer, who just turned 32 today, posted a celebratory Instagram snap, showing an additional diamond piercing on her ear. The post was captioned, "Diamonds are a girls best friend! #2isbetterthan1 #piercing #32today #bday." Clearly, girl knows jewelry is the ultimate way to "treat yoself." But even though her diamonds are sparkling stunners, my eye is more drawn to those amaze giant sunglasses.
While summer is usually more about the aviators, colored frames, and mirrored lenses, Lambert's oversized, tortoise sunnies feel more in tune with fall/winter fashion. If you are looking for new, seasonally appropriate sunglasses to shop, then a darker frame is definitely a good way to switch it up from summer, but the print still keeps it fun. And TBH, I can't get enough of oversized sunglasses and the slightly retro vibe they bring to any outfit.
Though the print is classic, the oversized frames keep them feeling young and modern. Here are seven oversized sunglasses to shop inspired by Miranda Lambert's.
