Earlier: In terribly devastating news, Paris, France suffered several attacks on Friday, Nov. 13. A shooting at a restaurant, in which involved a lone gunman open firing on a crowded restaurant, resulted in the death of 26 people and injuries to at least seven, according to reports. According to a BBC journalist who witnessed the events of the restaurant shooting, at least 10 people were lying dead on the road outside the restaurant after the horrific shooting.

A series of three explosions followed the restaurant shooting at a bar located next to Stade de France, where France was hosting Germany in a football match. French President Francois Hollande was in attendance at the football match near the bar explosions, but was evacuated immediately, according to the BBC.

Within minutes of these incidents, another horrific shooting by several gunmen took place at Bataclan concert hall. Outlets are reporting that around 100 hostages had been taken at the concert hall executed by six to eight gunmen. According to a witness nearby, one of the gunman at Bataclan began shouting, "Allahu Akbar!" (meaning "God is great") as they open fired. In an comment to The Telegraph, he recounted:

The men came in and started shooting. Everyone fell to the ground. It was hell. I took my mum, and we hid. Someone near us said they have gone, so we ran out. I was only thinking of escaping. We're out now. I think people are still inside. It's a nightmare - a nightmare.

It is unsure how many are responsible for the deaths, hostages, and injuries sustained during these brutal attacks, but officials now believe the many attacks are definitely linked, with a death toll is between 30-40.
