Kate Hudson Dons Jumpsuit On The Red Carpet Rather Than A Typical Dress — PHOTOS
When it comes to celebrity red carpet fashion, we're used to seeing typical luxe gowns and glamorous garments. One Hollywood starlet, though, recently traded in her designer gown for something a little different. Kate Hudson wore a jumpsuit to the Campari Calendar event in New York on Wednesday, and the non-traditional look felt super fresh on the red carpet.
The 36-year-old stepped out looking as gorgeous as ever in a shimmery bright red jumpsuit that sparkled from every which angle she posed. The statement piece featured a very plunging neckline that added some sultriness to the ensemble. The wide-leg silhouette elongated her already super long legs, and her nude pumps peeked out just a little from underneath. Her golden blonde locks were styled in a casual up-do with a few loose pieces in the front, and she sported a minimal makeup look comprised of some shimmery lids and rose nude lipstick.
It's pretty refreshing to see a bit of a different look at a celebrity event, TBH. Sure, this isn't the Oscars or anything, but opting for a jumpsuit for a swanky red carpet event is still a pretty daring choice. In this case, it totally paid off, because she looked stylish and stunning.
Check out the gorgeous look.
She is such a vision in red.
Statement jumpsuits are totally replacing elegant gowns on the red carpet, if you ask me. Let's take a look at six other celebs who prove that to be true.
1. Emma Stone
Stone is notorious for taking fashion risks, like this bedazzled jumpsuit she wore to the Golden Globes.
2. Taylor Swift
This is by far one of my favorite jumpsuits ever.
3. Chrissy Teigen
When you've got a jumpsuit this good, no dress can compare.
4. January Jones
Jones' bold choice to rock this sea foam green jumpsuit to the Emmys totally paid off.
5. Kendall Jenner
