Ariana Grande Has A Big New Song Coming Soon

by Alex Kritselis

Attention pop music fans: up-and-coming artist Who Is Fancy's new song, "Boys Like You," with Ariana Grande and Meghan Trainor drops on Mon., Nov. 23. Yes, you read that correctly: Ariana Grande and Meghan Trainor hopped on a new single together — and I have a feeling you don't want to miss it! "But who is Who Is Fancy?" you may be wondering. Don't worry — I'll fill you in.

Who Is Fancy (real name: Jake Hagood) is a 24-year-old singer-songwriter from Arkansas managed by Scooter Braun (Grande, Justin Bieber) and backed by Big Machine Records label head Scott Borchetta (Taylor Swift, The Band Perry). After his debut single, "Goodbye," was released in February, he went on to open for both Grande and Trainor on tour. And the rest, as they say, is history.

"Boys Like You" may not premiere until next Monday (the trio will reportedly perform the tune live on Dancing With the Stars), but its full lyrics have already made their way online. Here's the love-drunk chorus: "Try try try, to follow the rules / I break every one of them with boys like you / My oh my, doing what I always do / Yeah, I'm crossing every line to get to boys like you / Boys like you, you, tripping, freaking, falling over boys like you."

And here's a little taste of what the track sounds like:

The "Boys Like You" instrumental definitely seems to have a little retro flair to it — which fits well with both Grande and Trainor's respective styles. Hopefully, the two divas' names will help bring some additional attention to the song. Fancy has a strong, well-connected team behind him; it'll be very interesting to see where his career goes from here. Remember: "Boys Like You" arrives on Mon., Nov. 23.
