You'll Love J. Crew's Collab With Pierre Le-Tan

by Jessica Thomas

Are you an art junkie who's majorly disappointed to be missing out on Art Basel this year? The annual art show brings the who's who of the fashion and art worlds to Miami, but not all of us have the connections to get in. Never fear, because according to Vogue, J. Crew collaborated with New Yorker illustrator Pierre Le-Tan (father of designer Olympia Le-Tan), on a whimsical, Miami-inspired accessories line just in time for Art Basel.

The collaboration is part of Design Miami, the design-focused portion of Art Basel. Pierre Le-Tan may be better known for his New Yorker covers, which often featured whimsical, cartoonish drawings, but it looks like he's moving towards his daughter's world with this line of accessories.

J. Crew released the first five items in the collection for pre-order, and they're all covered in adorable, Miami-esque prints featuring alligators, fish, boats and sunglasses. Right now, the collection features socks, a notepad, a small zippered pouch and an umbrella perfect for dreary rainy days. The best part? All the items are less than $50 and available for pre-sale now. They'll go on display at Art Basel from Dec. 2-6, and the full collection will be available from J. Crew after the festival.
